The NiO Fuel Electrode Current Collector Slurry is a pure NiO conductive slurry specially designed for the fuel electrode side of SOFCs.
Unlike the active electrode layer, this slurry does not participate directly in electrochemical reactions. Its primary function is to provide an effective electrical connection between the fuel electrode and the current collector, thereby reducing contact resistance and improving current collection efficiency.
During high-temperature operation, NiO is reduced to metallic Ni, forming a porous and highly conductive nickel network that facilitates efficient current collection.
